Minocqua Public plans 11,700 square-foot addition

Minocqua Public Library will nearly triple in size when an addition is completed in May 2011. Zimmerman Architectural Studios, Milwaukee, will oversee the project, and the library will also select a construction management firm soon. Minocqua town voters approved a referendum by 491-188 on Nov. 3 to borrow up to $1.6 million to build a public library addition.
